Last May, on Memorial Day weekend, Pa and the boys went backpacking in the Ventana Wilderness...
Tommy and Browning had a blast! What? You don't see the miles of smiles?
Pa says, "backpacking gives us all a reality-check!"
What better way?
Backpacking brings beautiful sites...bugs, no toilets, hard ground
...things that can only be seen when you take the time to look...
If you look close... you can see the boys in this cave!
The lupine and wild mustard were in full bloom!
At the end of the three days, everyone had more appreciation
for all God's many gifts...both in nature and at home!
