Guenivere Update

After three days in the hospital, Queen Guenivere is home recovering from the mono virus.  The virus caused swelling of her liver and spleen and that has caused fluid in her lungs and her kidneys to swell.  She goes today for another recheck and more blood tests.  She has been such a trooper through all blood draws, exams, IV, CT scan and ultrasounds!  I can't believe she continues to bravely hand over her arm each time she's asked to endure another poke!  THANK YOU GOD for all the wonderful medical professionals you've provided us with...and a BIG THANK YOU to all of those who have sent prayers, cards, videos and treats for Guenivere!  All of your kindness has made a difficult time, a little more bearable.  She still has a long road of recovery...weeks for general health and possibly months for immune system health.  Her lab results today did show a big improvement over last week when she was in the hospital so we are hopeful about her recovery and are looking forward to her returning to her talkative, active-self!
